Howard Stark is Tony's father and founder of Stark industries.

Howard is the high class CEO of Stark international he wears suit pants, a white button tucked in, and he has short brown hair, and a fine groomed mustache
History[]
Howard was extremely interested in history of Makluan Rings and hoped that one day his son would influence he son in this topic too. The same day that Tony was going to show his father his newest invention (Iron Man armor) and before Howard was able to see what his son had built, the jet they're both flying with exploded, most likely killing him and seriously wounding his son Tony.
It was revealed in the final episode of season 1 that Howard was not killed in the jet's explosion, but that the Mandarin (Gene) kidnapped him to help him find the four missing Makulan Rings (now five since the Mandarin had ten Makluan Rings).
